Usual technique i think;    blocked in the colour, select the main areas where the light is hitting and paint them in on a on 'overlay ' or 'screen' layer.  Lots of flattening of layers and then getting back to very traditional painting really.    Massive amounts of dodge and burn   smudge like a crazy person. Make up a bunch of custom brushes...  Finally lots of playing around with depth and stuff using ajustment layers ( contrast, levels etc )   I was for once quite pleased with the results on this one.    But i think the composition lets it down.]]>
